Job Description

Flexcraft is growing-and we re hiring a hands-on Process Engineer with extrusion blow molding experience to help improve performance, reduce scrap, and support new product launches. Why Engineers Make the Move Competitive salary based on experience (aligned to experienced plastics engineers) Work directly on blow molding processes-not just theoretical work High-visibility role with ownership of scrap, cycle time, and uptime Opportunity to implement improvements, not just recommend them Stable, growing manufacturing environment What You ll Be Working On Extrusion blow molding processes Polymer materials and process parameters Cycle time, scrap reduction, and productivity improvements Tooling, molds, and equipment performance New product launches and process validation What You ll Do Optimize processes to improve cycle time, quality, and efficiency Troubleshoot production issues directly on the floor Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions Support new product launches, mold trials, and validations Partner with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams Develop SOPs and standardize best practices What We re Looking For 5+ years of process engineering experience in plastics manufacturing Hands-on experience with extrusion blow molding strongly preferred Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize processes in production Strong understanding of materials, tooling, and molding equipment Experience with SPC, DOE, or Six Sigma tools (preferred) Comfortable working on the production floor-not just at a desk Work Environment & Schedule This is an onsite, hands-on role supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation. The position requires regular presence on the production floor and alignment with 12-hour production shifts as needed to support troubleshooting, process improvements, and key production activities. This structure allows you to be closer to the process, respond in real time, and make faster, more effective improvements-not just analyze problems after the fact. A typical day could include troubleshooting a process issue on the floor, running a trial, and working directly with operators to stabilize and improve performance.
