Job Description

Are you a results-driven individual with a passion for precision manufacturing (specifically defense and aerospace manufacturing)? As a result of continued growth in North America, Rosenberger North America is currently seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Our total employee count has grown by 15% in the last 2 months, due to a strong backlog and a growing amount of incoming work.
About The Position:
This is an Exempt (Salary) position in a climate controlled facility. Shift is 1st Shift, with exact hours to be determined upon hire. In our NJ facility, we machine tight tolerance (<.001 in.) military/aerospace products (i.e. connectors) using various metals (some exotic - i.e. inconel, tantalum, beryllium copper, etc.). We also have a Hermetics Assembly Lab, and Bonding Lab. Rosenberger North America offers a 401k with 6% company match (60 calendar days of employment), Parental Leave (Maternity and Paternity - after 1 year of full-time employment), Health/Vision/Dental plans (benefits become active the 1st of the month following month of hire), and a state-of-the-art air filtration system throughout our machine shop. The Process Engineer reports to the General Manager and will be responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability, and develop best practices within the production process.

Job:
Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties: Ensure the job has the most current Drawing, Parts list etc. Determine Job needs, material, hardware. Work with purchasing to order the Job's material needs. Aid in the establishment of Procedure and Work Instructions. Generate Part Work Order/Travelers and Manufacturing Procedures. Assist with quotes when required. Has direct communication with both customer engineering and customers. Analyze and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of process design, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Must comply with all Rosenberger North America Pennsauken policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or Associate's Degree and equivalent job experience. 3+ Years of relevant experience. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 3D modeling software experience required. Must have advanced computer skills.
