Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, program, and commission PLC and control systems for automated manufacturing equipment (Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron).Design, specify, implement, and commission automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipmentProgram, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-controlled production systemsSupport robotics, machine vision, motion control, sensors, and automated testing technologiesLead continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing throughput, reducing waste, and improving qualityPerform root cause analysis, PFMEA, DOE, A3 problem-solving, and process improvement activitiesSupport new product introductions (NPI) and manufacturing process changesDevelop and maintain work instructions, routings, process flows, control plans, and BOMsCollaborate with suppliers, integrators, and cross-functional teams to implement automation solutionsSupport production through troubleshooting, upgrades, and process optimizationEnsure compliance with machine safety and manufacturing standardsMentor and support junior engineering team membersQualificationsBachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Controls, Automation or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).5+ years of manufacturing engineering and/or automation engineering experienceHands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting experienceExperience supporting automated manufacturing equipmentStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesExperience with process improvement and manufacturing best practicesKnowledge of manufacturing documentation, BOMs, routings, and ERP systemsBonus Skills - PreferredLean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certificationRobotics programming and integration experienceExperience with automated assembly processesKnowledge of machine safety systems and risk assessmentsExperience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activitiesBenefitsCompetitive Salary DOEVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401k w match
