This is a hands-on role supporting the machining and manufacturing of complex aerospace and gas turbine components. This position is a strong fit for an experienced CNC Programmer, CNC Machinist/Programmer, or Manufacturing Engineer who has formal engineering education and wants to apply their machining expertise to process development, tooling, programming, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
Develop and optimize CNC machining processes for complex components Create and improve CNC programs, fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing methods Support multi-axis CNC milling and grinding operations Troubleshoot machining, tooling, quality, and production issues Develop new fixtures and tooling for manufacturing processes Use CAD/CAM software for programming and process development Work directly with machinists, Operations, Quality, and Engineering Support new product introduction and new component/repair development Lead process improvement and Lean manufacturing projects Improve machining quality, cycle time, efficiency, and process capability Lead technical projects from development through production
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline 5+ years of relevant machining, manufacturing, or engineering experience Strong CNC machining and/or CNC programming background Experience with multi-axis milling and/or grinding CAM programming and 3D CAD experience Experience developing machining processes, fixtures, and tooling Ability to troubleshoot machining processes directly on the shop floor Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings
Preferred Experience:
Siemens
NX CAD/CAM
Okuma CNC equipment Aerospace or gas turbine manufacturing Complex or precision component machining Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement Project leadership FAA PMA or RS-DER knowledge Experienced CNC machinists and programmers with an engineering degree are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates do not need to currently hold an "Engineer" job title if they have the technical machining background and formal education required for the position.

$99,360-$120,000 annually
