Job Description:
AP Executive Staffing (APX) is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our customer, a globally recognized manufacturer of precision-engineered solutions in complex, high-mix production environments. The ideal candidate is an experienced Engineer with a legacy of success in a high-mix, low-volume environment and who still has immense passion for driving process excellence. They must be driven by solving complex production challenges, improving systems, and making measurable impacts on operations. Responsibilities Take ownership of manufacturing processes to ensure that they are safe, efficient, and repeatable Drive continuous improvement across key metrics: yield, scrap, throughput, and on-time delivery Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and process enhancements Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations Support new product introduction (NPI) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives Mentor and develop junior engineers, helping elevate team capability Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering 5+ years of high-mix, low-volume manufacturing/production experience 5+ years of documented success in process development, tooling, and fixture design Advanced understanding and execution of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies Proven ability to lead problem-solving initiatives and influence cross-functional teams Our customer offers exceptional compensation, benefits and growth within a highly collaborative, highly visible and high-impact operations and performance recognized environment.
