We specialize in high-complexity, high-precision machining of components and assemblies for the aerospace and defense industries. We operate a modern 75,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned facility equipped with world-class 5-axis machining centers, including Matsuura, Yasda, DMG Mori, and Hermle. Position Summary McQuillen Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in developing, optimizing, and implementing advanced manufacturing processes for complex aerospace and defense components. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in precision machining and advanced manufacturing, with expert-level Siemens NX CNC programming experience . This individual will be responsible for developing robust machining strategies, improving manufacturing efficiency, reducing costs, supporting new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of challenging production programs. Key Responsibilities

• Create, optimize, and validate CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM , including advanced multi-axis machining strategies.
• Serve as a technical resource on machining methods, tooling selection, work holding design, and process optimization.
• Design and validate fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing solutions using Siemens NX CAD.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Programming, Quality, and Production teams to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Participate in New Product Development (NPD) activities, developing manufacturing strategies and processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing routings, set-up documentation, work instructions, and process standards.
• Troubleshoot complex machining and production challenges and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes consistently meet customer specifications, AS9100 requirements, and internal quality standards. Qualifications
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in precision machining and manufacturing engineering within the Aerospace and Defense industries.
• Minimum 5 years of experience programming CNC machines using Siemens NX CAM.
• Demonstrated expertise in 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machining processes.
• Strong experience designing work holding, fixtures, tooling, and machining solutions.
• Deep knowledge of cutting tool technologies, machining fundamentals, feeds and speeds, and process optimization.
• Extensive knowledge of aerospace materials including Titanium, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Aluminum alloys.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding and application of GD&T principles.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes from prototype through full-rate production.
