• Project Delivery What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Owning project delivery end-to-end, from design concept and CAD development through testing, manufacturing handoff and field deployment Defining and managing project timelines, milestones and resource allocation across engineering, manufacturing and operations teams Leading cross-functional teams of 2-5 engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and accountability for design quality and schedule adherence Ensuring compliance with design standards, testing protocols and manufacturing best practices throughout the project lifecycle Managing stakeholder communication with manufacturing, quality, field operations and commercial teams Driving problem-solving and design optimization, balancing technical excellence with schedule and cost constraints Coordinating design reviews, testing campaigns and manufacturing readiness assessments Contributing to continuous improvement in project delivery processes and engineering standards What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: Must-have 5-10 years of experience in mechanical, electrical or controls engineering, with hands-on design and project delivery 2-5 years of experience leading or co-leading engineering teams Proficiency in CAD software and design tools relevant to your discipline Demonstrated experience with system integration, design standards and testing protocols Knowledge of manufacturing processes and field application requirements Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills Authorization to work in the United States Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Nice-to-have Experience with Jira or similar project tracking tools Exposure to regulated or quality-controlled manufacturing environments Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost optimization Master's degree or professional engineering certification What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: The opportunity to own technical projects from concept to field deployment Scope to lead and develop engineering teams, building leadership capability Exposure to complex systems integration and manufacturing challenges Potential for progression toward senior technical or program management responsibility Collaboration with cross-functional teams on impactful engineering work Professional development support and access to engineering standards and best practices About Specialist Staffing Group We are a leading recruitment partner specializing in engineering, manufacturing and technical talent.
