The Role Amphenol Military High-Speed is seeking a Design Engineer to work out of it's facility in Sidney, NY. The key responsibilities of this Design Engineer include, but are not limited to: Prepares designs and specifications, assists in generation of layouts Prepares and checks drawing and processes changes as required for production and customers Assure form, fit, and function of components through dimensional studies, and correlates engineering data to customer specifications Interfaces with other departments for the manufacturing and testing of samples Interfaces with customers and vendors to assure conformance to customer specifications Coordinates the manufacturing of customer prototypes Performs the functions required to process estimate requests and marketing product requests Performs engineering investigations of manufacturing/quality problems Reviews customer documents for compliance with AMHS documents and if necessary, prepares new designs to conform to these documents Works closely with the Business Development Managers and Product Managers of various business units Regularly and proactively communicates with customers, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Process, Purchasing, and experimental personnel Location Sidney, NY 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY 20 Minute Drive from
