Job Description
Description Permanent position for a Product Design Engineer. Design products to optimize manufacturability. Make modifications to existing products for specific customer requests. Value engineer existing products to expand their offering and lower manufacturing costs. Coordinate efforts with the Tech Center to ensure timely delivery of pre-sales submittal documents. Lighting design for Point Source, LED, Linear Fluorescent and/or Custom design solutions. Prepare all required documentation in ProE and Windchill drawings and BOM's and Purchase Specifications in MAPICS. Support Manufacturing in product assembly. Assist Customer Service, Sales and Marketing in any technical, service or product/project related issues. Travel to Job sites, agents, and trade shows. Establish and Approve test results and implement changes as required. Process ECN as required. Requirements BS Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Design. Identify and solve complex engineering problems. Apply critical thinking to overcome technical challenges. Strong project management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks. Knowledge of regulatory and standards. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and certification processes. Process optimization and continuous improvement. #ERGx
