Full-Time Role Overview We are a prominent precision manufacturing firm in Northeast Ohio looking for a talented CNC Machine Technician . Your primary focus will be the upkeep, repair, and performance optimization of our CNC hardware. We need a professional who excels at mechanical and electrical diagnostics, possesses hands-on experience with lathes and machining centers, and is dedicated to upholding our rigorous quality standards. Core Duties Execute routine and emergency maintenance tasks on CNC machinery and auxiliary production tools. Identify and resolve faults involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC components. Minimize operational interruptions by proactively addressing machine performance issues. Set up, verify, and calibrate various machining systems and tooling configurations. Analyze technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and blueprints to guide repair work. Collaborate with the production team to ensure maintenance tasks are aligned with operational priorities. Keep precise logs and detailed records of all maintenance activities. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by adhering to all safety protocols. Contribute to process improvements to boost overall machine uptime and operational efficiency. Provide technical support for equipment modifications, upgrades, and the installation of new machinery. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED; a degree or technical certification in Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance is highly valued. Minimum of three years of professional experience in maintaining CNC production equipment. Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and Fanuc CNC controls. Proven ability to diagnose and repair PLC-controlled systems, servo drives, sensors, and motors. Proficiency in utilizing diagnostic hardware and precision measurement tools. Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated ability to function effectively both autonomously and within a collaborative team. Flexibility to put in extra hours when production demands require it. Preferred Background Background working with screw machines, Swiss-style CNCs, lathes, or high-precision components. Familiarity with Mitsubishi, Siemens, or Fanuc control interfaces. Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and Lean Manufacturing principles.
