Job Description

Quality Manufacturing Engineer Position Overview:
TK Machining Specialties (TKMS), based in Ross, OH, is seeking a skilled Quality Manufacturing Engineer (QME) to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that production processes consistently produce parts that meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards. A Quality Manufacturing Engineer provides technical quality support and verifies product conformity. As the QME, you will work cross functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to prevent defects, reduce variation, and drive continuous improvement. TKMS has built its reputation on precision, innovation, and customer-focused manufacturing. Today, the company serves demanding industries such as aerospace, energy, and advanced manufacturing, earning recognition for its ability to produce tight-tolerance, complex components with quality, reliability, and advanced CNC technology. Due to rapid growth, we are looking to expand northwest of Cincinnati in the coming year.
Responsibilities:
Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving tools such as Fishbone, 5Whys, etc. and close nonconformances with evidence-based corrective actions. Troubleshoot production issues on the floor, implement containment plans, and support continuous improvement plans. Process validation inspections, inspection plan development, and inspection scheduling. Oversee CMM and Roundness tester programming and operation. Provide GD&T and metrology support. Manage quality records oversight, data collection, and reporting. Lead or support internal/external audits (ISO 9001).
Required Experience & Skills:
Associate degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or materials engineering. 5+ years of experience working in quality inspection. 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes. Experience with quality management systems (QMS). Advanced experience programming CMM and roundness tester machines. Advanced understanding of blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to use CAD software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Effective oral and written communication skills. Calibration program management. Experience with Taylor Hobson and Mitutoyo test equipment. Experience with ERP systems for logging inspection data. Clear understanding of data collection and retention processes. NCR investigations and technical support. Exemplify the Company's values and ethical standards.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Pay:
$38 - $52.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) Overtime Opportunities available
