Refresco Beverages US Inc is seeking a Controls Engineer to support high-volume beverage manufacturing operations. In this on-site role, you will design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for automated filling, packaging, and utility equipment. You will diagnose control and instrumentation issues, implement improvements to increase uptime, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. Working closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering, you'll lead upgrades, support new line installations, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA-based control systems for beverage manufacturing lines Support commissioning, startup, and optimization of new and existing production equipment Diagnose and resolve control system, instrumentation, and automation issues to minimize downtime Develop and maintain electrical and controls documentation, standards, and change records Collaborate with maintenance, operations, quality, and engineering teams on continuous improvement projects Implement safety interlocks, lockout/tagout considerations, and compliance with electrical and safety codes Analyze production data and control system performance to improve reliability, throughput, and quality Provide on-call and shift-based technical support in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Train maintenance and operations personnel on control system operation and basic troubleshooting Work with vendors and integrators on controls upgrades, retrofits, and new equipment installations Required Skills PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
