Chipton‑Ross is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support a leading aerospace and defense partner in Archbald, PA. Position Overview The Manufacturing Engineer will support production teams by improving processes, resolving hardware issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role plays a vital part in enhancing manufacturing efficiency, quality, and throughput across cable, harness, and electromechanical assembly operations. Position Responsibilities Modify manufacturing processes and procedures as needed Review defective hardware and provide corrective instructions Support production assemblers through interpretation of work instructions Integrate inspection and test requirements into production plans as applicable Evaluate tool and process performance, recommend improvements, and resolve deficiencies Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize design concepts and specifications for manufacturability Ensure all processes and procedures follow applicable regulations Identify and implement opportunities to improve flow, reduce cycle time, and decrease hours per unit Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Experience with cable and harness manufacturing Experience with electromechanical assembly manufacturing Familiarity with J‑STD, IPC‑610, and IPC‑620 (certifications not required) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience with Windchill
