They support the North American market and are experiencing significant growth across the United States We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manufacturing Engineer to join our customer's dynamic manufacturing team. The Assistant Manufacturing Engineer will support manufacturing operations by helping improve production processes, quality, and efficiency. This position provides hands-on experience working with production, quality, and purchasing teams to identify problems and implement practical solutions in a manufacturing environment. Job Summary The Assistant Manufacturing Engineer will support manufacturing operations by helping improve production processes, quality, and efficiency. This position provides hands-on experience working with production, quality, and purchasing teams to identify problems and implement practical solutions in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with developing, improving, and documenting manufacturing processes and work instructions. Collect and analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities. Support troubleshooting of process issues. Create and update quality documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective-action activities. Collaborate with technicians, engineers, quality personnel, and other departments to resolve manufacturing issues. Assist with implementing and validating process improvements. Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures. Qualifications Degree in Manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. Familiarity with CAD software, Microsoft Excel, and basic data analysis. Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering fundamentals. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment . Preferred Skills Experience with statistical analysis or process improvement tools . Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings. Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor is a plus. Experience with SAP .
