Are you a CNC Machining professional, looking to take the step up and have ownership of manufacturing processes, work instructions and CNC programming within an established manufacturing environment? This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a specialist manufacturer of industrial components, where you will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to directly improve manufacturing processes, standardization and shop floor efficiency. The company has a strong reputation within the manufacturing industry and works on complex, varied projects. This role has been created to bring greater consistency and standardization across the manufacturing operation, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on and making a tangible impact. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation, CNC setup sheets, work instructions and job routers, whilst working closely with the shop floor to standardize processes, tooling and workflows. You will also utilize Mastercam to develop NC programs and provide technical support to improve machining processes. This role would suit a Manufacturing Engineer, CNC Programmer or experienced Machinist with strong CNC experience, looking to step into a broader manufacturing engineering position with significant responsibility and autonomy.

The Role:

Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing work instructions, CNC setup sheets and job routers. Develop NC programs using Mastercam and read/write EIA machine tool code. Analyze and improve machining processes, manufacturing efficiency and workflow.

The Candidate:

Manufacturing Engineering, CNC Programming or Machining experience. Strong hands-on CNC machining experience and understanding of manufacturing processes. Two-year Associates technical degree or experience within a CNC machining environment.
