Job Description

Title:
Plater Job Type :
Full-time Reports to: Production Manager Job description: Performs all plating function to include but not limited to the following: Masking, racking, cleaning, stripping, plating, drying, counting/verifying quantities, proper handling, and packaging of customer parts.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring and upkeep of all plating processes. Good housekeeping and organization. Proper daily maintenance of all plating equipment and processes. Performs other duties, which are considered essential but not listed in the job description, as directed by the immediate Supervisor or Production Manager.
Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must possess general math and logic skills with ability to perform calculations related to the plating process. Must be capable of lifting 35-50 pounds unassisted. Must be capable of working on their feet, standing, bending, lifting, squatting, and sustaining physical exertion for the duration of the shift. Must be willing to work with and be exposed to hazardous chemicals in relation to the Plating Process. Must possess good hearing and eyesight, either natural or corrected. Must be willing to work agreed upon shift, overtime and weekends if necessary. Must be responsible and willing to work in a safe manner, wear and utilize all required personal protective and safety equipment in accordance with Company and OSHA safety and health rules. We perform government and power industry work. All potential candidates and employees must agree to and successfully complete a background check through Checkr in order to qualify and maintain employment. Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screening as a condition of hire prior to starting employment.
