A prominent manufacturer of industrial equipment is seeking a Project Manager/Project Engineer to bolster their operations department. Based in Honey Brook, PA, this position necessitates an on-site presence and demands a robust history of overseeing manufacturing-related projects. You will be tasked with orchestrating cross-departmental groups and supervising the implementation of projects in a technical setting.
Core Responsibilities:
Initiate project launches by articulating scope, schedules, and resource requirements to all relevant stakeholders. Facilitate cooperation between internal and external groups to help maintain high quality standards across all project phases. Monitor and document project status, identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks before they escalate. Create and update project timelines, while managing potential risks to ensure project delivery remains on track. Partner with the sales department to generate precise project proposals and cost estimates.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience overseeing projects within heavy industry or manufacturing sectors. Demonstrated proficiency in reading and understanding technical specifications and blueprints. Understanding of GD&T concepts, non-destructive testing, and relevant welding standards. Experience utilizing scheduling software, such as MS Project or comparable platforms. An associate or bachelor degree in an engineering discipline is preferred, along with the physical ability to carry out core job duties.
