The Judge Group is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the Kennett Square, PA area.

$120,000 - $140,000 Responsibilities Lead development of valves, fittings, and related mechanical products from concept through production. Review designs for functionality, manufacturability, quality, and cost efficiency. Evaluate customer specifications and technical requirements to determine project feasibility. Investigate product issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Manage engineering projects, including scope, timelines, testing, and change control. Conduct flow, stress, and performance evaluations to support product applications. Develop and maintain 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software. Prepare technical reports and provide engineering support to customers and internal teams. Mentor and oversee engineering staff while collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional partners. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required. 7+ years of product design engineering experience in manufacturing or regulated industries. Experience with fluid control, fluid power, or related systems. Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD platforms; AutoCAD experience preferred. Working knowledge of FEA, CFD, and engineering analysis methods. Strong project management, problem-solving, and technical communication skills. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, calculations, and test data.
