Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - eDrive/Inverter for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and documenting inverter manufacturing processes while supporting production readiness and assembly process industrialization.

Rate Range:

$40/Hour to $42/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Manufacturing Engineer - eDrive/Inverter Job Responsibilities include: Develop, document, and optimize inverter manufacturing and assembly processes, including laser welding and PCBA soldering. Create and maintain engineering specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation to support product development and production. Partner with Tier 1 suppliers and cross-functional teams to implement and industrialize inverter assembly processes for mass production. Conduct DOE, root-cause analysis, FMEA, and validation activities to improve manufacturing quality, reliability, and process capability. Lead engineering change management, track program deliverables, and communicate technical updates to stakeholders and leadership. Design, prototype, and support manufacturing tools, fixtures, and production equipment selection to ensure efficient and scalable assembly operations.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering/science field. Minimum 2 years of electrical module assembly or manufacturing engineering experience. Strong understanding of inverter assembly processes, DFM requirements, engineering specifications, and product development lifecycle activities. Experience supporting manufacturing industrialization, DOE validation, cross-functional collaboration, and mass production implementation in an automotive or electronics environment.
