WAGE RANGE
$97,600 - $152,700 annually
JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop, verify and validate processes for manufacturing. Perform complex experiments that may require support and coordination of other engineers or technicians. Active participant in R D projects, providing design input and ensuring projects can be translated into cost-effective production. Support R D in marking cost estimated for equipment, tools and components. Work with contract manufacturers to develop fabrication and assembly procedures to manufacture products and associated tooling needed for new and existing processes. Responsible for the maintenance of production equipment. Identify, diagnose, prioritize, and correct technical issues that may arise in standard manufacturing. Participate in design reviews, working with R D and manufacturing to resolve all issues, particularly those arising from lifecycle management or changes from existing manufacturing procedures. Support and adhere to the Quality Policy and Quality System procedures. Identify and lead complex projects that drive meaningful improvements. Hybrid role. Telecommuting is allowed per company policy. 20% international travel required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering or related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Experience must include at least two (2) years' with the following: 1) Developing and leading corrective action plans; 2) Continuous Improvement Methodologies, Lean, Root Cause and Root Cause Failure Analysis, TQM, SPC, or Six Sigma; 3) Advanced MS Office; 4) Troubleshooting and resolution of issues with equipment and processes; 5) Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings; and 6) Manufacturing methods / processes, procedures and design/cost-reduction techniques. Background checks may be required.
