Job duties: Monitor and oversee the prototype development/fabrication process. Inspect and verify dimensions of parts, components, and assemblies. Compare manufactured/fabricated items against the applicable engineering drawings and specifications. Identify dimensional, fabrication, assembly, or other discrepancies. Proactively report discrepancies and concerns to the appropriate project team. Prepare a comprehensive inspection/observation report after each assignment. Coordinate with the Great Dane team regarding observations and required corrective actions.

Location:

Brazil, Indiana 47834 The engineer should have : Experience in prototype development, manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or quality inspection. Ability to read and interpret mechanical/engineering drawings. Familiarity with dimensional inspection and measuring instruments. Duration of each project could range from 0.5 day to a week. There could be 2 such projects in a month. will reimburse travel cost, accommodation if out of State.
