Senior Manufacturing Engineer ZOLL Resuscitation $96,800.00 to $110,000.00 United States, Wisconsin, Deerfield May 28, 2026
Acute Care TechnologyJob Summary:
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer at ZOLL Medical leads engineering and operational excellence initiatives within ZOLL's Operations group. This role is responsible for sustaining and improving throughput, yield, safety, and cost, while driving continuous improvement initiatives and partnering with cross-functional team members to enhance product quality and customer safety. This role will operate under the supervision of Manufacturing Engineering personnel and does not have any direct or indirect reports.
Essential Functions:
  • Project leadership for process improvements, root cause investigations, implementation of corrective/preventative actions, cost reduction activities, new product releases/enhancements, capital investments, and other long term project activities.
  • Engineering support for the development of manufacturing requirements, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), design reviews, BOM structures, process development, Process Validation and Verification, and others.
  • Daily production support, tooling and fixture problems, personnel training, providing technical support to production, purchasing, materials, and others.
  • Manage recurring meetings to review manufacturing and quality data
  • Other duties as required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes (manual assembly, PCB fabrication and assembly, functional test, molding, machining, etc.).
  • Project management experience demonstrating the ability to meet schedules and cost targets.
  • Background in product structure, BOMs, and MRP systems.
  • Proficient with LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other structured problem solving processes.
  • Proficient in the creation of pFMEA, Validation/Verification and other operations documentation.
  • Proficient in the most common PC based applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Proficient in CAD design (SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies such as robotics, mechatronics, automation a plus.
  • Familiarity with
ISO-9000
a plus.
  • Familiarity with FDA QSR documentation requirements a plus.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or other technical discipline or equivalent
  • 8+ years of direct floor support experience in an electro-mechanical assembly and functional test environment
  • 1+ years of experience within a regulated industry preferred

This includes:
daily manufacturing and test support, process and yield improvement, quality and cost improvements, floor layout, Product Introduction, process definition and documentation. May or may not have direct reports. Manage weekly meeting to review manufacturing and quality data Required/Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in engineering or other technical discipline or equivalent. required and BSEE preferred Should have 5 years of direct floor support experience in an electro-mechanical assembly and functional test environment. required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of manufacturing processes (PCB fabrication and assembly, Functional Test, HASS, molding, machining, etc.).
