Greenville, South Carolina job type: Contract salary: $41.59 - 59.06 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Generate and maintain high-precision CNC programs using NX CAM for VTL, VBM, and 5-axis milling on large-format equipment up to 2.5m.

Verify new CNC programs prior to shop floor release utilizing Vericut and integrate Renishaw on-machine probing cycles for process validation.

Provide daily 1st shift shop floor support, troubleshooting programming issues and offering operator training during machine startups.

Support and implement tooling and fixturing requirements while authoring clear workstation instructions and methods for CNC operations.

Initiate and lead process improvement projects to optimize safety, quality, cost, and delivery across manufacturing operations.

qualifications:

At least 4 years of experience with graphical-based CAM system CNC programming, with Siemens NX CAM experience preferred and prioritized. Demonstrated experience in 5-axis CNC programming (3+2 & 5-simultaneous) and operating large-format equipment like VTLs and VBMs up to 2.5m. Strong hands-on background with Vericut simulation, high-level machine controls, Renishaw probing routines, and machining nickel-based superalloys.
