Job Description

Job Description Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1. Implement and sustain BD Excellence methodologies across the manufacturing unit. 2. Identify and standardize critical equipment settings and process parameters. 3. Develop and maintain technical standards to ensure process stability and performance. 4. Train and coach operators and technical staff on technical standards, basic condition restoration, and continuous improvement tools. 5. Lead root cause analysis and implement countermeasures for top losses affecting OEE, quality, and safety. 6. Drive waste and non-value-added activity (NVAA) reduction through data analysis and process optimization. 7. Support change control processes, including validation activities and resolution of quality deviations. 8. Apply engineering expertise (mechanical, chemical, electrical, automation) to solve practical manufacturing problems. 9. Utilize technical tools such as 3D modeling, technical drawings, and statistical analysis to support process improvements. 10. Design efficient processes and optimize manpower allocation using systems thinking and lean principles. 11. Ensure accurate application of BD Excellence performance code data to prioritize and track improvements. 12. Identify and scale best practices across production lines. 13. Support implementation of acceleration programs, including
SMED, AM
activities, and loss prioritization. 14. Maintain alignment with factory master plans, financial KPIs, and business unit targets. 15. Perform other duties as needed to support business objectives.
Deliverables:
Ensures safety of all associates and quality of product. Ensures new manufacturing processes and process improvements meet Manufacturing Unit objectives. Ensures equipment is running efficiently and effectively. Analyzes current state of equipment efficiency to drive OEE improvement and sustainability.
Education:
This position has the following minimum educational requirements:
BA/BS Degree:
Required
  • Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred 3 years manufacturing experience preferred ​ 2 yrs Medical manufacturing experience preferred
Basic Knowledge and Skills:
