Engineering Co-Op & Internship Opportunities | Summer 2027 Kruger Products | Memphis, TN Launch Your Engineering Career with a Leading Tissue Manufacturer At Kruger Products , we manufacture some of the tissue products used every day in homes across North America. Our Memphis facility is a large-scale, technically advanced paper mill where we produce high-quality tissue products through sophisticated manufacturing processes involving papermaking, converting, automation, reliability engineering, utilities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Our engineers play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable operations across the facility. We are currently recruiting Engineering Co-Ops and Interns for Summer 2027 who are eager to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is not a job-shadowing program. Students work directly alongside experienced engineers, operators, maintenance professionals, and manufacturing leaders while contributing to real business projects that create measurable impact. Engineering Majors of Interest We are seeking students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Automation Engineering Or other closely related engineering disciplines What You'll Experience Depending on business needs and your area of study, projects may include: Manufacturing process optimization Continuous improvement initiatives Reliability and maintenance projects Process controls and automation Electrical systems improvement Energy and utilities projects Equipment performance analysis Safety and risk reduction initiatives Data analysis and problem-solving projects Standard operating procedure development Lean manufacturing, 5S, and operational excellence initiatives You will have the opportunity to work directly with engineers and operational leaders while developing practical skills that cannot be learned in a classroom environment alone. Minimum Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline listed above Completed at least the second semester of your freshman year by Summer 2027 Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 preferred Legally authorized to work in the United States Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Demonstrated initiative through work experience, project teams, student organizations, research, athletics, or leadership activities Effective communication and teamwork skills Desire to learn and contribute in a manufacturing setting Interest in industrial operations, reliability, automation, process improvement, or engineering design Our Selection Philosophy We seek high-potential students who demonstrate: Initiative Accountability Continuous learning Teamwork Safety awareness Strong work ethic While academic performance is important, we recognize that success is not measured by GPA alone.
