Manufacturing Process Engineer - NPI Accelera - 3.5 Memphis, TN Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Technical documentation GMP Technical report writing GD&T Bachelor's degree Quality standards in production Manufacturing company experience Engineering validation Full Job Description About the Role As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will bridge the gap between product design and full-scale production, ensuring that new innovations are manufactured efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will leverage your technical expertise in process development and risk mitigation to drive successful product launches and continuous operational improvements. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing workflows, operation sequences, and assembly methods for new products. Execute design transfer activities, ensuring seamless transitions from R D to production environments. Design and oversee the fabrication of specialized tooling, fixtures, and gaging equipment to optimize production performance. Perform rigorous process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and develop comprehensive documentation to ensure regulatory compliance. Conduct PFMEA and root cause analysis to identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Analyze process capability data and statistical outputs to drive continuous improvement and cost-efficiency. Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing configurations within enterprise PLM and ERP systems. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as medical device, aerospace, or automotive. Proficiency in GD&T, technical drawing interpretation, and measurement systems analysis (MSA). Strong analytical skills with the ability to write formal engineering reports and validation protocols. Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and shop floor control systems. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with multi-axis machining, casting, or complex assembly processes. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing tools like Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Kaizen. Experience with SAP, Windchill, or similar enterprise resource planning software. Demonstrated ability to perform statistical data analysis for process characterization.
