What You'll Do As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a key role in improving manufacturing operations by increasing efficiency, reducing waste, improving quality, and supporting production teams. Responsibilities Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes. Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Analyze production data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities. Support new product launches and manufacturing readiness. Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process documentation. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues. Recommend improvements to equipment, tooling, fixtures, and automation. Conduct process capability studies, time studies, and workflow analysis. Support APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP activities when applicable. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Participate in capital projects and equipment installations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field. 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred. Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Experience improving manufacturing processes and production efficiency. CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) preferred. Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is a plus. Excellent communication and project management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
