Job Requirements:
B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology. Other field of study considered with relevant experience. (Requirement) Minimum of 2 - 4 years automotive manufacturing quality control and supervisory experience. Must include project management and reporting. Must have excellent communication skills with a high focus on Customer Service/SatisfactionDevelops and coordinates all activities of the Quality Control Department in the Portland, TN location. Coordinates all activities of QC Technicians through Quality Area Managers. Direct interface with Quality Engineers, Quality Managers and Customers. Observe and follow all UNIPRES rules and regulations Maintain a safe work area through implementation of 5S Responsible for supervision of all Quality Area Managers and Quality Engineers in the Quality Control Department Responsible for new or revised parts quality, SIR documentation and action to assure parts approval Assist in establishing inspection procedures for appraisal of conformance to quality standards Inspect all design changes and new model trials for conformation to quality standards Assist Quality Control Manager and Quality Engineers in implementing quality standards with Area Managers and Technicians Coordinate overtime activities as necessary to support the manufacturing process Develop cost reduction activities for scope of position with individual department Perform regular audits of
