Overview We're hiring a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in a manufacturing, process, or production engineering role to help us elevate the performance of our high-volume automotive production and assembly operations. Our plant combines automated and traditional assembly technologies to deliver world-class products at scale, and we're looking for a high-energy, hands-on problem solver who wants to make an impact directly on the manufacturing floor. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with operators and technicians to identify inefficiencies, troubleshoot production challenges, and develop practical solutions that improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost. One day you might be troubleshooting downtime on a CNC cell, and the next you could be designing a new process flow, running time studies, improving an assembly operation, or helping justify and implement a capital equipment project. You'll take on increasing ownership of capital projects, contribute to Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives, and have opportunities to mentor junior engineers and help shape the growth of the engineering team. Compensation Salary:

Responsibilities Production Support:

Maintain a strong daily presence on the manufacturing floor, working directly with operators, technicians, and maintenance to support production and keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Hands-On Troubleshooting:

Respond to line downtime, equipment issues, process variation, and other production challenges in real time; identify root causes and implement practical, sustainable solutions.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement improvements that increase throughput, reduce scrap and downtime, improve quality, and eliminate waste.

Continuous Improvement:

Lead and support Kaizen, root cause analysis, time studies, standard work, process balancing, and other lean manufacturing initiatives.

Capital Projects:

Support equipment specification, vendor coordination, installation, commissioning, and other capital improvement projects.

Cross-Functional Engineering:

Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to solve technical problems and improve manufacturing performance.

Performance & Technology:

Use production data and emerging manufacturing technologies to identify and implement opportunities for improvement. Requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical preferred) 2-7 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or production engineering roles (more junior candidates will be considered) Experience with lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong communication skills and comfort working with frontline personnel Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and troubleshoot production challenges effectively. Basic knowledge of applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems. Preferred Familiarity with CNC processes, controls, tooling geometry, machine tool processes, and fixture design. Proficiency with automated, semi-automated, and manual automotive assembly equipment and cell design. Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems. PLC programming and robotics experience' Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and CI tools (5 Why, fishbone, SMED, etc.) Experience with capital projects or equipment commissioning a plus

Physical Requirements:

Able to walk approximately 3-7 miles per day. Perform repetitive motions while walking or standing. Stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
