Inventor Drafter/Designer Job Description Join a rapidly growing company that prioritizes diversity, innovation, and continuous improvement. We are an industry leader specializing in the design, manufacture, and assembly of electrical controls, enclosures, irrigation pumps and controls, municipal and commercial pump stations, water purification systems, and custom metal fabrications. We serve a variety of industries, including water pumping, oil production, wastewater treatment, baggage conveying, and more. As an experienced 3D modeler, you will support engineering efforts on pump station and reverse osmosis station projects, working directly with an engineer to produce high-quality technical and assembly drawings while maintaining accurate Bill of Materials (BOM). Responsibilities Create and revise detailed 3D models and 2D drawings. Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects. Collaborate closely with engineers on the design of pump stations and reverse osmosis systems. Draft and design structural skids, steel platforms, and piping systems. Support additional design and documentation tasks as needed. Essential Skills At least three years (ideally 5+ years) of industry experience in 3D modeling in a drafting or design capacity. Experience using Autodesk Inventor (preferred) or SolidWorks. Experience in drafting or designing automated industrial equipment. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in 3D modeling structural skids or steel platforms preferred. Experience in 3D modeling piping systems preferred. Experience with water treatment systems or irrigation systems preferred. Work Environment The work environment is an office setting with a Monday to Friday schedule, 100% onsite. Initial hours will be from 8am to 5pm for the first couple of weeks, after which a mutual start time between 6am and 8:30am will be agreed upon. Lunch break is 1 hour. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
