Job Description

About the Role We are a high-mix, low-volume machine shop seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support a wide variety of complex and custom projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, mechanical tinkering, working closely with customers, and taking ownership from concept through production. Key Responsibilities Facilitate customer solutions by reverse engineering worn or broken parts, and engineering novel mechanical parts Interface with customers to understand needs Create accurate GD&T drawings for machinists to make parts from Prepare job cost estimates for management review, including material, labor, and process considerations Assist in purchasing materials and coordinating outside services required to make parts Learn and document internal manufacturing methods, and assist in developing training programs Advise on efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes Troubleshoot machinery, production issues, and manufacturing challenges Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Experience with GD&T technical drawings Basic understanding of machining processes and manufacturing methods Preferred Traits Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Comfort flexing from hands-on shop floor work to desk-based design, drafting and documentation Takes initiative and follows through without close supervision Humility and a willingness to learn Genuine curiosity in understanding customer equipment and needs Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Work Environment On-site role in Mt. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
