Manufacturing Engineer I Salary:
$67,000

We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support process development, tooling design, and continuous improvement initiatives in a precision sheet metal fabrication environment.   • Manage engineering projects involving brackets, simple weldments, and basic assemblies
  • Develop manufacturing processes, routings, work instructions, and tooling requirements
  • Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and recommend improvements
  • Design fixtures and tooling using CAD software
  • Support production launches, first-article inspections, and process validation
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and ERP data
  • Collaborate with production, planning, quality, and programming teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
  • Support equipment commissioning and manufacturing process improvements Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, including laser cutting, punching, and forming
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
