Job Description Job Description Looking to hire an experienced design engineer with experience in transmission/distribution pole design using PLS-Pole. At least 1 year experience in PLS-Pole is a strict requirement. A B.S. in Structural Engineering is preferable, but a B.S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is acceptable. Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, RISA-3D, Lpile, and Mathcad is also preferred but not required. Company Description Lach Engineering is a family-owned consulting firm specializing in the Commercial, Industrial, Lighting, and Utility markets. Our team consists of nine professionals, including six engineers, two of whom are Professional Engineers, and three drafters. With professional licensure across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Washington D.C., and multiple Canadian provinces (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador), we have been delivering exceptional consulting services to our clients since August 2006. Our core expertise centers on the design of steel and aluminum poles for signs, lighting, and traffic signals, encompassing overhead highway sign structures, street and area lighting, sports lighting, high mast lighting, and traffic signal support systems including mast arms and span wire/strain poles. We also provide comprehensive design services for towers, poles, and substations within the electrical transmission and distribution industry. Our structural engineering capabilities extend to reinforced concrete foundations, bridge decking, bridge rail, guardrail, and retaining walls. We leverage industry-leading software including AutoCAD, Inventor, PLS-Pole, L-Pile, Risa-3D, ASDIP Design Suite, SAFI-HSE, Tower, Mathcad, and additional specialized platforms to ensure precision and excellence in every project we undertake.
