Job Description

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Mechanical Designer. In this role you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing tooling, fixtures, equipment, and automated systems. This role leads equipment and tooling projects supporting production, new product launches, capacity growth, safety improvements, and manufacturing innovation. Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve delivering : Safe, reliable, cost-effective tooling and equipment solutions Successful launch of manufacturing fixtures, automation, and production equipment Reduced downtime and improved equipment reliability Complete CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, and validation records Measurable improvements in OEE, cycle time, quality, and operator safety Requirements 2-5+ years designing tooling, fixtures, or manufacturing equipment Experience supporting high-volume production environments Experience with CAD design and equipment troubleshooting
