Job Description

A Manufacturing Engineer leads capital equipment, facility layout, and process improvement projects. Works with maintenance and automation on various projects within the foundry from concept to implementation.
Key Responsibilities Project Management:
Plan and execute multi-discipline projects—such as furnace upgrades, robotics integration, or facility expansion—from initial concept through budgeting, procurement, and final installation.
Process Optimization:
Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize casting processes (sand casting, die casting) and downstream CNC machining operations to reduce scrap and improve casting quality.
Tooling Design:
Manage the lifecycle of dies, fixtures, and trim tooling, working directly with toolrooms and vendors on design reviews, repairs, and modifications.
Safety & Compliance:
Oversee risk and hazard analyses (e.g., OSHA, NFPA compliance) to ensure a safe, environmentally compliant work environment.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Collaborate with quality control, supply chain, and production teams to resolve daily equipment issues and conduct root cause analysis.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
