In this role, you'll work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Contract Manufacturing partners to support new product introductions, improve production yields, troubleshoot failures, and drive continuous improvement. What You'll Do Design and develop automated manufacturing test systems and production test software Create functional, calibration, burn-in, and diagnostic test applications Design and validate test fixtures, programming fixtures, and interface adapters Troubleshoot analog and digital electronics at the board and component level Perform root cause analysis on production failures and field returns Analyze production yield data and implement process improvements Support NPI builds and manufacturing transfers to contract manufacturers Train production technicians and create technical documentation Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, production test development, or hardware validation Strong electronics troubleshooting skills, including analog and digital circuits Experience reading schematics and performing component-level debugging Proficiency in Python and experience with C# or C/C++ Experience developing automated production test software Experience controlling instruments via USB, LAN, or GPIB Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and computer hardware Experience with Git, test automation, and manufacturing processes Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with professional audio, DSP, or embedded computer products Experience with Audio Precision analyzers and automated audio testing Familiarity with Dante, USB Audio, Ethernet, GPIO, RS-232/RS-485 Experience with JTAG/Boundary Scan testing Experience supporting NPI builds and contract manufacturers Knowledge of SQL databases, SPC, ESD controls, and Lean Manufacturing Why Symetrix?
