Posted 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary The Manufacturing Engineer supports flight test assembly and installation by developing and managing build plans, coordinating fabrication and procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with design and process requirements. This role integrates cross-functional engineering inputs to execute efficient manufacturing strategies and support aircraft development programs. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- 5 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Job Duties & Functions
- Participates in Integrated Product Teams to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
- Leads development and maintenance of integrated build plans with project management, design engineering, and program teams
- Develops and maintains manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and technical illustrations
- Coordinates fabrication activities and interfaces with procurement and supplier management teams
- Tracks part status, logistics, and shipping in coordination with supplier management and materials organizations
- Develops and documents manufacturing engineering processes, tools, techniques, and standards
- Prepares build analyses and cost estimation reports to support program execution
- Leads integration of suppliers, materials, processes, data, and technologies to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
- Conducts producibility assessments to evaluate design concepts and manufacturing feasibility
- Manages program work statements to ensure alignment with cost and schedule requirements
- Develops complex work statements and sequencing plans to support production and delivery commitments
- Aligns production schedules with build plans, program requirements, and fabrication capabilities
- Drafts, reviews, and updates processes and procedures to meet business and program requirements
- Leads creation of training materials and technical guidance for engineering teams
