Job Description

Position Responsibilities Sales experience not required; CNC tool manufacturing experience and Japanese language abilities are required Ideal candidates will have experience in engineering and estimating within a CNC tool manufacturing plant with a desire to learn sales, and the ability to speak Japanese. Turnkey Project Development & Execution Key Tasks Generate leads, Work with potential customers to refine project concepts and scope, Select suitable supplier to perform project, Finalize and present proposal, Oversee execution
Work Summary:
Turnkey projects start by discussing existing problems customers are facing or upcoming needs. Frequently the customer does not know how to solve the problem. The employee must collect all relevant information including field observations and interviews, identify the critical points, and prepare a draft RFQ.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
Read and understand engineering drawings, Strong writing and oral presentation skills, Passing familiarity with a wide variety of manufacturing processes Project management and organization Skills & Knowledge Recommended, CAD modeling, East Asian language ability (for international supplier management)
Contract Manufacturing Key Tasks:
Generate leads, Select suitable supplier based on manufacturing methods required, CAD quality control
Delivery Work Summary:
utilize partner factories to provide contract manufacturing services to American customers. Customers will provide 2D drawings, 3D models, or occasionally physical sample parts and the employee must send RFQs to the appropriate manufacturing supplier. In cases where 2D drawings must be converted to 3D models for CAM, the employee may be tasked with confirming the accuracy of the 3D model against the dimensions of the source 2D drawing before commencement of production.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
Read and understand engineering drawings, Familiarity with CNC metal cutting, Familiarity with post-processing methods (plating, engraving, etc.)
Skills & Knowledge Recommended:
3D CAD modeling
Ad Hoc Sourcing Key Tasks:
Clarify customer needs, Locate and engage with supplier, Develop quotations, Manage sales and delivery
Work Summary:
Clarify the customer's needs, locate the most appropriate supplier, and carry-out the quotation, sale, and delivery process in a timely manner.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
