Automation Engineer

Job Title:

Automation Engineer Responsibilities + Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment including PLC-controlled machinery, robotic systems, conveyors, and CNC-related automation. + Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues in a manufacturing environment. + Support PLCs, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, servos, and industrial networks. + Assist with programming changes, backups, and documentation for automation systems. + Perform preventative maintenance on automated equipment to reduce downtime. + Support new equipment installation, startup, and commissioning. + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve cycle times, uptime, and process capability. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
