Senior Level Salary:
$100,000 - $120,000 per year Job Details -Key Responsibilities:
Quality Systems & Compliance Support and maintain the Quality Management System (ISO 9001). Create, revise, and control quality documents, procedures, and work instructions. Perform internal audits, in‑process audits, and support ISO audits. Complete and manage regulatory compliance documentation (RoHS, REACH, CBAM, etc.). Manufacturing & Process Quality Support manufacturing teams to ensure quality is created at the source. Conduct quality reject investigations and prepare comprehensive reports. Lead or participate in 5S initiatives and Lean/continuous improvement projects. Monitor calibration schedules and ensure timely calibration of equipment. Customer & Supplier Quality Respond with urgency to customer complaints, RMAs, and corrective action requests. Lead, perform, or review PPAP submissions for customers. Partner with Purchasing to evaluate and improve supplier quality performance. Provide direct support to internal and external audits and customer visits. Quality Engineering & Technical Activities Apply quality planning tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, Flowcharts, APQP, etc.). Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective action activities through verification. Perform statistical analyses, including capability studies, capacity analysis, and Gage R&R. Accurately measure parts using calipers, micrometers, hand gauges, and precision instruments. Collect, evaluate, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including DPPM, scrap, and cost of poor quality. Training & Collaboration Provide guidance and technical support to inspectors and shop-floor personnel. Conduct or participate in quality-related training sessions. Support manufacturing, sales, and leadership with problem resolution and data‑driven insights. Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or quality engineering (metal forming or stamping preferred). Working knowledge of inspection and test equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Plex preferred). Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, 8D, and RCCA. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in both office and shop-floor environments.
