You will leverage your expertise in CNC systems and lean methodologies to optimize workflows, ensuring our manufacturing processes are both efficient and scalable. Responsibilities Lead the design, installation, and validation of manufacturing equipment to enhance overall production throughput. Perform hands-on troubleshooting of CNC machinery and tooling to minimize downtime and maintain precision standards. Utilize root cause analysis to resolve complex quality issues and implement sustainable corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process bottlenecks and eliminating operational waste. Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures and DFM guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all production activities adhere to safety and quality compliance protocols. Manage capital projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational performance goals. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or process optimization role. Proficiency in CNC machine setup, changeover, and precision measurement techniques. Strong understanding of GD&T, machine geometry, and manual machining principles. Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and solve complex mechanical problems. Excellent communication skills with a focus on collaborative problem-solving. Preferred Skills Experience with Lean Manufacturing, automation, or continuous improvement methodologies. Background in custom manufacturing, millwork, or woodworking environments. Current OSHA 10-Hour certification. Technical expertise in spindle maintenance and advanced gauge measurement.
