Job Summary McKee Foods is looking for an experienced Production Technician to join our Production Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering and performing a variety of technician roles, including assisting with equipment startups, changeovers, and shutdowns. The role also involves training new or transitioning employees and promoting a safe, organized, and efficient work environment in line with company standards and values. Perform and provide coverage for Packaging Technician, Production Utility, and Make-up Technician duties (refer to individual job descriptions for details) Support equipment startups, changeovers, and shutdowns Train new or transferring employees and achieve trainer certification Accurately input data into computer systems Complete daily and end-of-week cleaning tasks Ensure compliance with company policies and demonstrate values-driven behavior Communicate effectively to facilitate workflow and task execution Maintain excellent attendance as per company and department guidelines Practice good personal hygiene and contribute to a clean, safe work environment Prioritize safety for oneself, coworkers, and the product Required Qualifications Strong decision-making and record-keeping skills Effective oral and written communication abilities High degree of initiative and a positive attitude Basic computer literacy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Takes responsibility for personal actions and performance Must obtain a forklift license
Preferred Qualifications :
