Job Description

Build Custom Medical Devices with Advanced Technology Outcome-Based Technologies (OBT) is looking for a 3D Printing & Digital Manufacturing Technician to join our Scottsdale manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role combining
CAD/CAM, 3D
scanning, HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing, laser cutting, digital fabrication, and assembly to manufacture custom orthotic medical devices. You don't need medical-device experience. We're looking for someone who is technically curious, mechanically inclined, comfortable with computers, good with their hands, and excited to learn. Previous experience as an Orthotic/Prosthetic Technician, O&P Technician, or orthotic/prosthetic fabrication technician is a major plus. What You'll Do Work with 3D scans, CAD files, and digital models Prepare files for digital manufacturing and 3D printing Operate HP MJF industrial 3D printing equipment Perform bead blasting and other post-processing Operate a laser cutter Fabricate and assemble custom orthotic devices Install padding, hardware, and other components Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy Troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing issues Follow documented manufacturing and quality procedures Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you have experience or interest in: 3D Printing CAD/CAM Additive Manufacturing CNC Laser Cutting Digital Fabrication Prototyping Orthotics & Prosthetics Medical Device Manufacturing Robotics Product Assembly We're particularly interested in experienced Orthotic/Prosthetic Technicians who want to expand their skills into CAD/CAM, digital fabrication, and additive manufacturing. O&P experience is not required . We're willing to train the right person with strong technical aptitude and attention to detail. Why OBT? This isn't a traditional assembly-line manufacturing job. HP MJF 3D
Printing → Post-Processing → Assembly → Finished Custom Medical Device You'll join a small, growing team using modern manufacturing technology to create products designed for individual patients. Compensation $20-$32/hour , depending on experience and technical background.
