Job Description

Manufacturing Tech II Hours:

Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM to 2:30

PM Rate:

Up to $20/hr

Job Description:

Assembly line, creating fiber optic cables both glass and plastic fibers. Operate polishing machine, Operate fiber cutting machine. Confirm correct materials and appropriate quantities are used and report any discrepancies. Entering and maintaining documentation on work order-related issues. Final assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of newly assembled products.

Requirements/Qualifications :

Experience operating polishing machine and fiber cutting machine. Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent. Some technical college experience is recommended. Read, write and speak English Basic computer skills (PDF and Excel files) Has great hand and eye coordination Knowledge of the use of various electronic test equipment (meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies). May be required to stand for long periods of time. Able to use basic hand tools (screw drivers, pliers, etc.) Lift weight up to 50 pounds.
