Responsible for preparing, fixturing, and coating parts based on job and customer requirements. Ensures that the correct fixtures, shields, masking, tooling, and coating process are used. Job Duties Prepare fixtures, shields, and parts. Mask and fixture parts as required. Load and unload coating equipment. Run the assigned coating process. Handle customer parts carefully. Perform daily equipment cleaning and basic PMs. Report any quality or equipment issues. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or production training is required. Experience Requirements Must have experience working with coating/ fixturing or equivalent Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments. Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required. Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety. Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Fixture Coating Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
