Job Description

Position Summary This is a temporary to hire, onsite Manufacturing Associate role supporting bulk formulation and sterile fill finish operations for liquid injectable pharmaceutical products under cGMP regulations. The position operates Monday through Friday for 8 hours per day, excluding lunch, with a flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on business needs. Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine manufacturing tasks in accordance with internal SOPs and cGMP requirements Prepare material components and equipment for manufacturing operations Execute bulk drug formulation using laboratory equipment such as mixers, balances, and pH meters while gowned in Class C (ISO 7) cleanroom conditions Perform sterile filtration activities in Class C (ISO 7) environments Conduct sterile filling of drug product, media, and buffers using automated filling and closing equipment in Class C (ISO 7) conditions Accurately document all activities in batch records, logbooks, and other controlled documentation Maintain cleanliness of manufacturing areas and equipment Perform basic arithmetic and algebraic calculations to support manufacturing activities Participate in inspection readiness efforts and audits Support validations and qualifications for new processes and equipment Collect and dispose of laboratory waste according to established procedures Collaborate with cross functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of relevant pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing experience required Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Life Sciences preferred Experience working in a cGMP regulated environment strongly preferred Experience within a contract manufacturing organization is a plus Required Skills and Competencies Strong time and project management skills with the ability to multitask Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy High level of personal and professional integrity with a strong work ethic Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
