ASAP Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Technician to support prototype manufacturing, assembly, testing, and production operations. This position will work closely with engineers and production teams to assemble components, operate equipment, maintain workstations, and ensure products meet quality and design requirements. Responsibilities Support the development of prototype manufacturing and testing capabilities. Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of components, subassemblies, and finished products according to established instructions. Operate light equipment and tools, including drills, custom tooling, crimpers, and presses. Program, load, operate, and troubleshoot automated equipment. Perform equipment maintenance and follow calibration schedules. Package completed products for shipment and delivery. Maintain consumables and production inventory. Assist engineers with development builds, testing, and other production-related tasks. Help develop, improve, and optimize production workstations and processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Ensure product quality and compliance with design specifications and requirements. Follow all company safety procedures, with safety as the top priority. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills & Experience 2+ years of mechanical or electrical assembly experience. Ability to read, interpret, and work from drawings and controlled documentation, including mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience working in an electro-mechanical, precision manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing environment. Experience with electrical wiring. Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and prototype development. Experience setting up and performing tests and experiments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time. May be required to climb ladders, bend, grasp, sit, pull, push, stoop, and stretch while performing job duties. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted . Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and production environment.
