Job Description

  • Job Title: Microsphere Manufacturing Technician
  • Job Description
  • Join our dynamic team as a Microsphere Manufacturing Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the production of drug-loaded polymer microspheres. Work alongside innovative professionals on a varied shift schedule, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in the medical device industry.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Support the preparation, mixing, inspection, filtration, and documentation of solutions used in production.

+ Prepare solutions by weighing, mixing, heating, cooling, sampling, and filtration.

+ Operate mixers, jacketed tanks, TCU, peristaltic pumps, ultrasonic baths, and balances.

+ Perform in-process inspections and manage environmental controls.

+ Accurately maintain batch records and controlled documentation.

+ Follow line clearance, cleaning, PPE, and safety protocols.

+ Escalate deviations or out-of-spec results to supervision or engineering teams.

+ Operate machinery to produce medical devices according to specifications.

+ Update manufacturing instructions and job documentation for traceability.

+ Prepare products for packing and sterilization, and conduct product inspections using a microscope.

+ Perform setup, verification, and teardown of equipment before and after processing.

+ Engage in manufacturing tasks including fabrication, in-process testing, and packaging.

+ Document production activities in manufacturing lot history records.

+ Clean production equipment and areas.

+ Analyze data as needed and troubleshoot product or process-related issues.

+ Work with toxic chemicals and powders in a lab environment.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Experience in assembly, cleanroom environments, and working with medical devices and pharmaceuticals. + Proficiency in laboratory and chemical handling, with 2 years of experience working with chemicals. + Knowledge of GMP, aseptic techniques, SOP, packaging, and sanitization.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Minimum High School Diploma or GED. + Basic math skills and comfortability working with toxic chemicals.

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $24.

00 - $26.40/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
