This role operates production and packaging equipment, follows batch records and SOPs, performs inspections and labeling, maintains cleanliness, and ensures products meet quality standards for safe, consistent output. Essential Duties Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment for gummy cooking/depositing, capsule filling, and related processes. Weigh, stage, transfer, and count raw materials, bulk product, and packaging components per batch records. Perform primary packaging tasks like filling, sealing, and inspecting finished gummies and capsules. Execute secondary packaging including labeling bottles/jars, inserting leaflets, capping, shrink wrapping, cartoning, and case packing. Conduct in-process checks, visual inspections, line clearances, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance. Identify/report equipment issues, deviations, or quality concerns to supervision. Clean/sanitize equipment, packaging lines, and work areas between runs. Complete production, packaging logs, lot records, and traceability documentation in real time. Support changeovers, troubleshooting, and material handling with carts/forklifts. Maintain cGMP, food safety, and safety standards at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years in food/supplement/pharma manufacturing or packaging preferred. cGMP experience with batch records, inspections, and labeling preferred. Ability to follow detailed instructions, perform basic math, and document accurately. Mechanical aptitude for equipment operation and minor adjustments. Strong attention to detail in fast-paced settings.

Preferred Experience Gummy processes:

cooking, molding, drying, oiling, sanding.

Capsule processes:

filling, polishing, sorting.

Packaging:

labeling, bottling, checkweighing, case packing. Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 111 and equipment like fillers, labelers, cappers. Physical Requirements Stand/lift up to 50lbs for extended periods. Work in varied conditions (heat, dust, noise). Wear PPE and follow safety protocols. Work Environment Manufacturing facility with exposure to ingredients, equipment, and movement. Shifts/OT possible.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
