Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly, maintenance, and quality assurance processes within our production facility. Your expertise will help ensure that manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative production workflows while honing your technical skills in a fast-paced environment. The shift is a day shift schedule with Monday through Friday and Friday through Sunday schedules. Shifts start at either 5am or 7am and run 10-12hrs per shift based on production needs. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery, power tools, and following safety protocols and operational guidelines. Interpret and follow production documents, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate assembly and mechanical work. Use measuring instruments to verify component dimensions and quality standards. Assist with manual handling tasks and heavy lifting to support the movement of materials and finished products throughout the facility. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety standards in accordance with manufacturing safety protocols. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, ensuring timely completion of production goals while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of production processes. Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, hand tools, power tools, and managing production or assembly responsibilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality control procedures to ensure precision in assembly work. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols. Mechanical knowledge combined with a proactive approach to process improvement is essential for success in this role. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
